Company Overview

Three generations. One trade. Zero shortcuts.

Jay Hollon grew up in the door and hardware business as a third-generation industry professional. From an early age, he gained exposure to the work and the people behind it… and later spent time in the field, alongside installers, and in hollow-metal and wood-door shops learning the trade firsthand.

That foundation gave Jay a practical understanding of Division 08 from every angle: the products, the details, the installation process, and the issues that can surface when information is incomplete. His work on hospitality renovations made one thing especially clear: the best way to solve construction problems is to prevent them early.

Jay founded Hollon Consulting to bring clarity and expertise to the front end of a project. By working with architects, developers, project managers, and general contractors during preconstruction, Hollon helps create accurate specifications, complete scope sheets, competitive bids, and product selections that meet brand standards.

Today, Hollon Consulting is a single-source Division 08 partner from project conception through completion. We help clients solve problems, avoid costly surprises, and deliver the right doors, frames, hardware, installation support, and ongoing fire-door maintenance solutions.
